Wanting to keep this lifestyle, residents came together in 1961 to have their community incorporated as the Town of Paradise Valley — ensuring the values they desired most were not consumed by their neighboring cities.
These values are perhaps best summed up by the motto coined by residents themselves: There is a reason we call this valley paradise.
